I don't think it was the reference to 'naughty sex' that people found offensive....

....it was the nature of the reference, you pretty much casually encouraged anal rape of our respective partners, which isn't a very nice thing.

Joking or not, it suggests the kind of insidious sexism that we (or at least many) all deplore when it's a bunch of footballers roasting some drunk teenager.
