Reading between the lines...

"This time last year I didn't think I could be any more disappointed than I was then, after we were beaten by No Wich here and they went top of the league. After that they didn't look back and won the title comfortably. That was a horrible time. Why couldn't we do that this season? We are a much better team than No Wich. I did tell them they needed 11 new players and I was right. Perhaps they might like me to play for them next season. Do you have Norman Worlington's phone number?"
