The special effects were complete pony even by 70s standards but what I liked about it was that the "heroes" were flawed and that they didn't always win. You always knew Captain Kirk or Doctor Who would end up on top. Not necessarily so for Blakes 7

Of course I've not seen it for some thirty-and-odd years so I may be confoosed. But anyway. Great it's being "rebooted".
