I bet there are many more people posting on this board who prospered from Thatcher's time

as PM than who suffered from it. Mind you lets not let that get in the way of people proving what men of the people we all are by celebrating the death of an old lady!

I didn't agree with everything she did but at least Thatcher stood up for what she believed in even and thought was best for the country even where her policies were unpopular in the short term.

No leader of any party these days would do that as they would be too terrified of offending people and/or losing the next election.
