I actually don't think that it is just a Norwich thing

There was that story at the weekend about Man U trying to improve the atmosphere at Old Trafford.

I also remember stories about Birmingham and Spurs getting booed off after the ending of ridiculously long unbeaten home runs. You could always tell that Lambert was fuming on the odd occasion he got a few boos. Its like he thought 'What the f**k?! after all we've achieved you still boo us off...'

Its something to do with modern fan culture. A kind of 'entertain me' expectation that is fuelled by the hype, the high ticket prices and the fact that players are paid ridiculously well. Maybe also not enough young people to get the atmosphere going.
