No, it absolutely does not. The standard of the Prem has been getting continually worse for 5 years now. From 10th downwards, it's an absolute joke: unbelievably so given the money which is spent by practically everyone every year.

Many of the sides from 10th below feature a bunch of players paid tens of thousands a week who can't control or pass a football. It's laughable. And this Norwich side - which Hoolahan apart, has unbelievably little real quality - wouldn't have had a prayer of staying up in the middle of last decade. Yet we almost certainly will stay up, and have spent a large part of the season comfortable in mid-table.

It's frightening how bad this league is. Honestly, it is.
