nah, he's still an international captain

not sure he'd want to be trolling around Crewe and Brighton. And at his age a 46 game season is a hard slog. Even when we signed him I never thought he'd stay if we went down. And he'll be damned expensive for a Fizzy Pop team - for that money I'd rather have two younger plays who are still hungry. His "top level experience" might have been worth the dosh in the Prem but it counts for nothing now.
