Death and taxes, yup.

However, people are making (understandably) emotional judgements by being overly pessimistic about our run-in and being overly-optimistic about those around us.

Listening to "neutral" observers, none of them seem to think we will go down. Pundits don't think we'll go down. Journos don't think we'll go down. Bookies don't think we'll go down. The stats say we won't go down.

FWIW, I don't think we'll go down. :)
