I think that's rewriting history a bit! Lambert was brilliant over the 3 seasons he was

with us. He definitely created and moulded his own team which changed without you really noticing and maintained a fantastic team spirit.
(I've forgortten who it was, a player who was signed for the Prem season - Pilks perhaps? - kept talking about 'us last season' when he was interviewed for example).

What certainly helped Lambert though was the coming together of circumstances, not least McNally.
