Whether some people are over reliant on the state or not

is not the issue here. By making a direct correlation between the welfare state and a violent criminal who caused the death of six children, the Daily Mail are intentionaly seeking to demonise people on benefits.

They are not playing out a reasoned or reasonable argument about welfare reform, they are trolling.
