Normally a player would let that ball run across him and take the first touch with his left foot, which would take longer as he'd need to adjust his body to get t he shot off with the same foot. RvW quickens this up by taking his first touch with his right which means he shoots earlier, not giving the defender time to get across. Technically, it's very, very good which is why it's so exciting. van Persie plays in a similar way.
