The really obvious thing about two of his goals last night were that the crosses were hit first time, by a left footed player from the left side and a right footed player from the right side, bending the ball between the line of the defence and the goalkeeper.

This points two things out to me at the moment:

1) Snoddy on the right naturally slows down our crossing because he turns back onto his left 90% of the time.

2) Our full backs don't overlap with enough conviction (which I believe is down to manager instruction).

If we address these points and get defenders facing their own goal instead of giving them time to set themselves and face our crosses with their backs to their own goal, then we stand a better chance of unsettling them and bagging a goal or two.

We haven't got strikers with the composure or movement of RVW at the moment but we need to give ourselves a fighting chance with what we have.
