Garrido can be really good, but he has been lackluster for a while now. That's partly to do with tactics and partly to do with form (more on the defensive side).
My argument was that it wouldn't harm players like that being given a rest now and again in order to keep them fresh and motivated, you know, like last season.
Tierney is certainly not miles behind hi in terms of quality and he deserves a run of games. I'm not saying that should happen NOW, but looking back to December/January time when Garrido's form started to dip it would have been a good idea.
