Yes but the original point was that he isn't performing much better

despite having FAR better resources to work with.

I don't think that he's doing a good job. Average and satisfactory if we stay up? Yes, but the football has been dire, not to mention the long spells without a win.

I'm not sure how he's on track when we're performing worse than last season despite having a better squad, that's baffling to me.
