Totally

Each of the 3 were legends in their own (relatively small) eras imo.

Iwan for the play off years
Hucks, soon after
and then Holt over the past 3-4 years (and counting)

Although, as much as Holt is and will always be a legend in my eyes (since it would really take SOME going for anyone to repeat the impact he's made anytime soon) I do feel eventually he will start to play less and less of a role in our success unfortunately.

But I guess that's what happens to everyone eventually, "the king is dead, long live the king" etc

Doesn't take anything away from what he's done for us since joining though - difficult to fault really.

I agree the summer thing was a bit messy, but he's not wealthy in footballing standards (compared to us lot, of course he is, but that's a different matter) - he clearly wants what's best for his family and their future, so I can see his logic - I think things were probably made to feel worse due to the fact that Lambert left in such a storm at a very similar time. I wonder if the Holt saga might not have been such a big issue otherwise.

But reading his article in the paper today, his passion and commitment is clear to see. I hope next season he can play a bigger part, i.e. scoring goals again like he did in previous years, because the way Hughton will set us up once we have additional attacking/midfield strength should suit his style more
