biggest difference is the bottom time you get......
when I AM Hoot and I did a 2 week livabourd in eygypt, we were doing 4 dives a day! we made sure we were permantly on 32% - otherwise the 3rd and 4th dive in the day would be somewhat shortened by the nitrogen accumulation.... plus it "does" give you a bit more energy...(more oxygen to the brain and muscles) - but only really noticed that side when comparing the time I drove 3 hours to dive swanage on 21% and riving back, and the next time did the same trip and dive, but on 32% - drive back was fine, didnt feel tired!
