It's cheaper to privately rent a 1/2 bed flat than a 3/4 bed house.

It is bonkers that we have singletons in state owned 3/4 bed properties whilst paying to house familes in privately owned 3/4 bed properties (or worse still, having to cram large families into properties that are far too small).
