I'm self employed and work from home - I spent 8 months last year in Barcelona

can't recommend it enough. I'd fly back to London once a month for meetings etc.
Used to spend the days poncing around in cafes and bars or on the beach or getting the train up the coast, then spend the cooler evenings and mornings working. Fucking great. And really cheap too once you learn to avoid the tourist traps
