He's by turns racist, ablist and homophobic. I dont believe that any of those are genuinel

y held opinions, he's not in any way consistent enough for that. I think they're carefully chosen to antagonise, provoke a reaction and stir up noise.

I enjoy this community; I've been a contributor to it for more than a decade and I've met a panoply of interesting and lovely people, both in virtual terms, but also in real terms. Other users if this forum have found love and got married, for f**ks sake, this disfunctional, abbraisive and ridiculous society has done genuine good over the years. I've invested a lot in this community, and enjoy doing so. Sometimes there's some good football chat too.

So when some smear of a personality decides to disrupt that, with the basest of tricks, I do react to try to get rid of it. It doesn't contribute. Ever. Pay closer attention if you think it does.

If the tactics are schoolyard, I really can't communicate effectively enough how tiny a f**k I give about that, if they work. And they have been. Every now and again it realises it has overreached itself and given the game away, and behaves well for a little while afterwards. But it always comes back with a variation on a theme.
