I think they've had a bugger of a job because we've taken so long to get the ball in to them. But yes, the hope is that next year, with a full season behind him, Hoots will try to be a bit more progressive and a good deal less boring.
The fear is that he won't: he hasn't been very experimental this year, and yes I understand that there may be good reasons for that - but he's been damned hidebound so far, and a couple of square pegs have suffered for it.
Fingers crossed, innit.
