Jook:

Man opens his door to find a policeman standing there. The policeman holds up a photo and says:

"Is this your wife sir?"

The man answers that it is and the policeman says, well sir I'm afraid it looks like she's been hit by a bus.

The man says:

"I know but she's a brilliant cook and she's ever so good with the kids."
