the thing is nowadays in the prem.. 10m or so doesn't get you a top striker

it gets you someone proven to be a bit above average (Fletcher, Remy, Cisse, Jelavic etc..), or a young unproven player with potential (Wickham, Sturridge, Benteke etc..)

Some work out, some don't at that price.
