As a neutral to the game

I've seen the Liverpool "goal" about 10 times on replay now. Not a single angle has convinced me that it even might be over the line. There's absolutely no chance that the whole ball was over the line. Furthermore, they keep talking about not having cameras in the goal, but I thought there was computer technology which could freeze the screen, then lift up to a bird's eye view in line with the goal line?
