Are not good enough where it counts, no matter who the manager is. Games are won and lost in the middle, and ours is absolutely appalling.
Andy Hughes. Let's face it...he's a bit crap. On a bad day, he's a lot crap. For a change I would love to know who Worthy was after in the summer, as Hughes surely can't have been first choice...except given the protracted chase for him, apparently he was. We've just come down from the Premier League, we have a bit of money to spend, and the best we can do - really - is Andy Hughes?
Jason Jarrett, I'm afraid, is a sacking offence in himself. Words fail me.
No-one else? Again, I would love to know who we were chasing this summer. It's good that the club don't scream from the rooftops about signing everyone from Frank Lampard down every 5 minutes, but really, there are times when you would like to know what actually goes on.
And no right winger. For FIVE (Count them, FIVE) years.
I think the question of just what the f**k the manager thinks he is doing is more than justified.
And that's before you start on some of the other problems with the team, which IMO cascade down from the above. We may have been disappointing even with a half-decent midfield, but there is no way we would be this bad.
