young loans are always a gamble, Bentley was a good one cos

we had Francis, Mullers, Safri......... there to get him going

I aren't saying marney would have been mint, but getting a young player on loan is of slow benefit to his club as well as to us (ie Pennant, didn't really do a great deal at leeds, but is now the player he is from that experience)
