The elderly

My elderly neighbour is moaning about the cost of heating his four bedroom house which he now lives alone in, pretty much in one room!
The fact that he has his a large part of his bill paid by the government despite being part of a generation which more or less wiped out the North Sea gas and oil stocks makes it seem all the more galling!
He can cut his own bloody hedge next time.
