I think our good run was down to something a lot simpler.

We used to fire early balls into the box and get a measure of reward for it (eg Garry Do into Pilks v Man U)

More recently we seem to fiddle around in the final third and get dispossessed before getting a cross in. I struggle with understanding why we do that, despite their being bodies in the box.

We've perhaps returned to the flick, fart, fannying school of football. It un-necessarily complicated, and wholly un-productive.
