Think Lennon knows the writing's on the wall for next season and beyond. Why would a class player want to go there and play 38 meaningless league games (19 of which in front of quarter full tiny stadiums or parks) just so they get a chance to play in the first half dozen Champions League games before being knocked out?

If you're willing to play the 38 games just to keep fit in order to play (presuming you're not injured or suspended etc) in a couple of Champions League games then you're a glory hunting billy big bollox w**ker whose character would only otherwise suit QPR.
