Its swings and roundabouts for me

I love being in the premier league and profile that brings. i love the fact we can poach the best players from the championship. I love the fact that colleagues and friends respect us more as a club and a team again when i speak to them. I love the fact we are on match of the day and that i can basically watch any game live online if I can't get to it. i love the fact we have a match report in every newspaper every Sunday and Monday. I love the fact that in theory we can do well in the Cups and I love the fact that the general quality of the football is so much better in general (as is borne out by occasional glimpses of championship games this season).

However I hate the fact that I know that in certain games, if we play well we simply have no chance. I hate the fact we have had to play the way we've played at times just to stay in this league. i hate the fact that staying in the prem has become so much more important than the possibility of winning a cup. I hate the fact that even though we are in our second season up we still can't compete with most clubs in this league financially and finally i hate the ticket price increases (both at home and away) and the fact our away support has become populated by an increasing number of sad w**kers in fancy dress and half and half scarves.

On balance i prefer it but only just. The downsides are mainly "football" wide issues rather than Norwich or prem specific.
