A friend of mine at the game yesterday noted that Man U fans really do

seem to have a complex and are more obessessed with their rivals than supporting their own team.

Lots of songs about burning or hanging scousers or anti Man City and before the game there was a huge banner near to us (presumably comissioned in anticipation of Giggs' 1000th appearance) which had a picture of Giggs, the premier trophy and steven gerrard along with the words "Giggs has won 18 more of these than gerrard"

Even that banner they used to proudly have along the Stretford End saying "34 years since man City won anything"

Even their "We're Man United, we'll do what we want" and "Who the f**k are Man utd" songs suggest insecurities.

Strange bunch.
