Clever tech people please

The old laptop is on the way out. I'd like to replace it with some magnificent specimen which would be suitable for fast browsing, iTunes for a 160GB iPod and word and that sort of thing. I'd also like something that looks a bit flash. I don't do games or any if that stuff. Change from maybe ?650-?700 would be nice. Any thoughts gratefully received.
