I was in the middle and felt sadly unrepresented in the singing

I love all the tat stalls and the excited tourists outside Old Trafford you don't get the same pre-match atmosphere at any other ground. Shame there isn't any atmosphere inside although there was a bit of good natured banter with some MUFC fans to our right.

Our fans were brillers - sang pretty much all game, best for ages. "You're nothing special the scousers got five" was good.

Nice bit of arsiness from the "sit down" "stand up" contingent. Some lads thought it was a breach of their human rights to have to sit in a no standing area "I've sat down for 6 hours to get here, I can't sit down any more" squeaked one "then f**king walk home then" was the witty riposte.

Kei Kamara came on to a hero's welcome - the lad has done a brilliant PR job. He looked very awkward on the pitch tho - a bit like a lad who has joined in a kick about with some other lads he didn't know - they wouldn't give him the ball so he just ran about for a bit and then went home.

Listened to radio stoke on way home - f**k me the Stokies are more miserable/mental than the very worst canary callers. Sort of made me feel a bit better.
