They've looked doomed for months

They might scrape by, but on form they deserve to be in the bottom three. I have mixed feelings about it, though - while it would be delicious to see them relegated just to shut up some of their deluded, one-eyed fans, and of course the comedy value of seeing Lambert take them down, I think I'd rather Wigan finally dropped out of the Premier League. I have nothing against their fans (all 16 of them) or Dave Whelan, but most Wiganers I know don't care about football - they're rugby league fans through and through. They also seem to find away of getting out of trouble every year. It's about time their luck ran out.
