We have to drop him

That's the simple truth. If he isn't performing, drop him. I don't care who he is, even if he's our best player, he must be dropped.

And I'd replace him with a youngster from the academy, as I'm not convinced anyone else in our first team squad could do a job down the left wing for us. Brennen has zero commitment and should be shown the door. Charlton isn't a midfielder. And McVeigh lacks consistancy these days. At least a youngster will have lots to prove, as he will need to show he is good enough for a professional contract, and thus will fight and show the kind of commitment our overpaid first team players don't.
