If Sutton hadn't missed and Flecky not been half fit we'd have beaten Sunderland and

we'd have beaten Lolerpool's Spice boys easily in the final. We'd have then won the Cup Winners Cup and started 2 decades of European dominance when we attracted the best players and consequently repeated our form in the league thus rivalling Man Utd, Leeds and later Blackburn for the Premier league title and Champions League spots.

Still seething about that.
