the butter on paws thing.......

is for when you let the cat outside for the first time, theory being so it can find its way home! My mum did this with our cat when I was growing up....it worked - but thats not to say the cat wouldnt have found its way home had she not done it!

cats will chase mice and birds if they feel inclined - thats nature! My fenton chases cats but isnt bothered in the slightest with birds - You cant fight nature.
