Just to get the manager sacked? It makes no sense to me. They are professionals for heavens sake, not school boys. If they are deliberately ignoring him, then they are a bunch of tossers. How do we know, if they weren't ignoring him, we would be winning and not losing (maybe a bit far fetched!)?
This evening I am seriously questioning our squad's integrity as professionals. For me they are a disgrace to their profession to produce two no shows in two weeks. Yes the manager is to blame, but how you think our players should be absolved of blame is beyond me. If you turned up at work, did bugger all all day, ignored your manager, you'd be sacked after a while. Because you have a responsibility to do your job. The manager can't force you to do anything. He just sets the environment for you to work in.
As for the papers - difficult to predict what will happen. I think the players may be savaged a bit. Some will apologise (again) no doubt. Actually I really cannot predict what will happen as Worthy was sounding very let down.
