one quote really stands out to me. When he's talking about the lack of Arsenal youth team players who've made it to the first team:

"Certain people just fall by the wayside. When they play they might not score a wonder goal, which you have to do. If you are unnoticed you don't deserve to be in the team."

Which explained a lot about Bentley's season here. Never mind helping the team win, doing your bit wherever it's needed - football is all about scoring the wonder goal, getting noticed. Or it is when all you want to do is impress Mr Wenger.
