My mate who I go gigging with, spoke to him last time we were out, so I got to hear his speaking voice for the 1st time

On those dates Boss Caine was quite a big band (a collective of different line ups most times they played. Mark played with them a few times too), but these days it's just Dan Lucas, who's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. His songs are very raw whisky folk/Tom Wait's esq. Him and Mark are best friends I think

If I haven't ran out of money, I'm gonna go to the Rook and Gaskell that day, cos it's free, and there's about 6-7 bands on (and is a pub prided heavilly on it's ale)
