I remember listening to Phil Brown talking about how he had

to shore up a defensively weak Hull team as a priority when he first went to the KC.

Started at the back, and worked his way forward in improving the team... to the point they were promoted to the PL, and comfortably stayed there first season.

Hughton's taken on Lambert's team knowing that he'd have to sort the defence first, before building his way forward.

I'm sure that he will address our striking and creativity situations in the summer. I suggest that this time next year will be a better time to start judging Hughton, our performances and future prospects.
