Surely Snoddy & Wes should be under threat?

Our two most dangerous players in open play (holt & Pilks) weren't playing today, which was part (though a long way from all) of the problem so why are less dangerous players immune? I love Wes's style but but he really doesn't actually achieve very much (2 goals, 2 assists this season) for someone you sacrifice a striker to accommodate and his shooting is pathetic for the Premier League.
