I agree, it is annoying to see Southampton pushing on

but they're bankrolled by a benefactor, they spent ?30m+ in the summer and generally are in a totally different financial situation from us.

I don't envy them - I for one am incredibly proud that we've got where we are under our own self sustaining steam rather than via an open chequebook!
