I'd like to add up the purchase prices and cumulative wages of the 2 squads. Berbatov, Hangeland or Ruiz anyone?!?! I'd like to vet them three are on a fair whack too not to mention the likes of Duff Rodallega or Risse. Plus the fact they brought in 5 players in January. The fact we even compete with teams that can spend that much is something. And that's an average to lower half prom team.
