Scoring does not

It may help win games, I agree, but there is no certainty that scoring means winning

I see what Hoots is doing as similar to when a company is coming back from a bad period (i.e. losing Lambert and not knowing what the immediate future held) and needs to form a solid base upon which to propel itself upwards in future years

But that's just my opinion
