I think premium gives you better quality and use on a phone

The phone app was a bit dodgy at times (battery, temperamental offline mode), but really excellent otherwise. The extra sound quality is good if you've got your PC hooked up to a decent amp and speakers, but pretty pointless if not.

Basically, unless you want the phone app and don't need the improved sound quality then don't bother. I'd definitely say both paid packages were reasonable value though.
