It does loads of things
But on the menu, it just has an option to run on ram settings
From there it loads up, and shows you a desktop like windows. Just loading it up will be the reminder to your desktop and hdd that it does actually work
You can just go start, and restart/reboot after that
If you problem continued to persist though. The operating system it loads up with the ram, would allow you to mount the hdd, and you would be able to copy important files over that you needed. A way of recovering data
But yeah, that's the disc
