I didn't realise it was a newish one. Something in the start up that's failing then

had a look at the pics, not switch at the back, can't see a reset button

You might get some elements of joy out of cd drive thing

You might find it fixes if you have lots of usb gadgets unplugged on start up

The parted magic disc is a must for me though. You can make them yourself, or buy one for a quid on ebay. You will use it more than once. It used to save an old pc of ours from the blue screen of death loads. I'm guessing because it's a different way of getting into the computer, and then there's the opportunity for the machine to rectify itself during that process or on restart
