Don't really get the negativity about yesterday

Ok yes as usual we could have gone for it a bit more and brought the subs on a bit earlier but we did exact;y what i expected us to and we did it pretty well to be honest. Looking at their fixtures they really had to win that game and they did'nt. For us it was always a game that was more important not to lose and we didn't lose. We always knew thats how Hughton would approach the game and we did exactly what i thought we would.

Negative points, late subs again, a few too many free kicks given away in dangerous areas and Garrido seems a bit off colour at the moment.

When Bassong is fit our defence always gives us a chance of taking points out of games and that is a positive. I also think Snod is back in great form, Wes is picking back up again and I thought Johnson was also very good. We created 3 or 4 very good chances and on another day might have scored a couple of goals. Another week has passed and the gap between us and the bottom 3 has not shrunk. All in all therefore, we came to do a job and we managed to do it. Performances and games like that don;t worry me at all, what worries me more is our ability to now build on that point by taking the game to Fulham next week and getting the 3 points because looking at our remaining games its going to be our ability to pick up 3 or 4 wins out of our home games and Stoke and Wigan away that is likely to decide our fate this season.

My biggest gripe yesterday, having had to listen to the game on 5 live was the media's utter obsession with presenting the game as "can Arry's QPR manage to beat a Norwich team on the slide" almost as if our role in proceedings was that of a bit part player. Very irritating.

Also caught the interviews with Beard and Fernandes on Radio 5 yesterday and this morning and i do not believe a wrod either of them says when they try to claim players have joined for football reasons and they are protected if they go down. Fernandes in particular came out with a really unconvincing long pause and meek "yes" when asked if he would continue to financially suuport QPR even if he stepped down as chairman.
