My greatest-ever stupid football knowledge moment

I was down the pub with the other people (mostly girls) from my Film course - one of them got talking about a guy they saw on a beach with a massive tattoo on his back saying "Slade - Thanks for the Memories".

One of them said "No-one loves Slade that much, surely?" to which I replied "Maybe he meant former Tottenham and QPR striker Steve Slade".

Carl and I laughed our arses off, everyone else looked non-plussed. Unsurprisingly.
