Bentley on his day ...

... Takes us back to below, really - plenty of debate on that. I thought Bentley was selfish and lazy, personally, and didn't play well enough often enough. Talked himself up far too much, basically - I really can't stand arrogance when it isn't justified (although I love it when it is).

Jonson I honestly reckon should have been tried up front, or in a 4-4-1-1 before we signed Deano. Him abd Bentley were both impressive against Bolton, but if you watch Jonson, he quite clearly can't cross or take on a man, but his short passing is assured and you could imagine him unlocking a few defences with through-balls.
